Hi! I’m Melissa.
Both a New York native and Minnesota transplant, my ties to both states are strong. I am a graduate of Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where I earned my BFA in Graphic Design. In my decade plus of experience I have worked as a graphic designer across nonprofit, destination marketing, small studio, and agency environments.
In addition to graphic design, I have always had a love for photography and various forms of printmaking. I am most passionate when my work can live in print and I strive to uphold that visual translation in my digital work. My keen attention to detail and craft take high priority for me no matter the subject matter. I thrive in handling multiple aspects of design since I find this gives me a more cohesive and successful final outcome. It also helps further connect me in my process since I have a large inventory of skill sets to be put to use. In my experience, this has led me towards creative direction where working alongside other creatives and highlighting their talent comes naturally. I welcome work that challenges me, and find the research and exploration phase to be just as important as final deliverables.

I keep inspired by surrounding myself with nature, the unknown, and humorous company. I will also never turn down an opportunity to travel.
